About a year and a half ago, I decided it was time to do something about my weight and my health in general. Since diabetes runs in my family, I knew the sooner I dealt with the situation, the better. At first I did
little things like cutting soft drinks out of my diet, eating smaller portions, walking more. I was able to lose a few kilos on my own, but I had reached a plateau.
After reading an encouraging interview with personal trainer Andreas Bösch, I figured it couldn't hurt to meet with him to discuss my situation and the possibility of working with him. His professionalism and positive attitude convinced me, and just a few weeks later I started a program with him. With his help I changed my diet and started exercising 5-6 times a week, a real change for me! But it has made a big difference in my life and 5 months later I am down 10 kilos and 2 dress sizes. Not only that, but I also look forward to exercising now that I see the benefits to my physical and mental health.
People think that personal trainers are something only celebrities can afford. But for me it was more a question of, "can I afford NOT to make a change in my life?". I'm not the kind of person who feels comfortable working out in a gym, and this option gave me the flexibility and personal attention I needed. Most importantly, I saw it as an investment in my future health. With his constant support and motivation, Andreas helped me make a change for the better - thank you!
